Pay scale: 8000-275-13500 (to be revised as per VIth Pay Commission)
Qualification:
Essential:
i) At least IInd Class archarya or M.A. in Sanskrit or equivalent qualifications from a recognised Institution.
ii) Degree in Library Science or equivalent Diploma in Library Science from a recognised Institution or post-graduate diploma in Archaeology/Musicology.
iii) Knowledge of manuscriptology.
iv) At least 2 years experience in a recognised Library.
Desirable:
i) Knowledge of Hindi and/or English.
ii) Knowledge of epigraphy.
