Scale of Pay: Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Educational Qualification:
1. M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Ten years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Explosives out of which at least three years experience should be in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Science in the relevant discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of the applications.
