SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

    Openings at URANIUM CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED (UCIL)Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy having its headquarter and registered office at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Company is engaged in mining and processing of uranium ore. Company is presently running six underground mines, an opencast mine, two Processing Plants and a by-product recovery plant – all in Singhbhum (East) district of Jharkhand. Company is also poised for a massive expansion in different parts of the country. UCIL is following IDA pattern of pay scales revised w.e.f. 01.01.2007.

    GENERAL CONDITIONS:



    a) Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he / she fulfills eligibility criteria of the  post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

    b)  A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 50/- is applicable for General & OBC candidates.  SC/ST/PH & Female candidates  are exempted from payment of application fee.     c) Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category of SC / ST / OBC / PWD shall necessarily submit a copy of valid caste/medical certificate,  in a proforma prescribed by Govt. of India, as the case may be, from a Competent Authority. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the “creamy layer” are not entitled to apply against OBC (Non-creamy layer) category.   Age relaxation to various categories will be given as per Government Directives.

    d) Other things being equal, preference will be given to the candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC(Non-creamy layer), physically handicapped and persons knowing Telugu language for the posts required for Andhra Pradesh.  The Management reserves the right to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview or also to fill the posts even at lower level. Length of experience may be relaxed in case of exceptionally experienced and deserving candidates.

    e) All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University / Institute recognized by AICTE/Appropriate Statutory Authority.

    f) The candidates working in Government Departments /Public Sector Undertakings should route their application through proper channel.

Incomplete applications will summarily be rejected and no correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates who has not been shortlisted/selected.

    HOW TO APPLY:

    1.Eligible candidates have to apply “ON-LINE” through our website “http://www.ucil.gov.in” selecting ‘Jobs’ followed by necessary instruction. The on-line application process will be operational from 26.06.2012(1600 Hours) to 23.07.2012 (1600 Hours).

    2. The candidate is required to take print out of the  registered on-line application form with system generated application serial number and note down  application serial number for the post applied, for future reference without fail. The candidate must take the print out of duly filled up application form before submission.

    3. The candidate should sign on the print-out of the on-line registered application form by affixing recent colour passport size photograph (4 X 3 cms) and also enclose one passport size photo / attested copies of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, caste & Medical Certificate (applicable for physically handicapped candidates only) along with Demand Draft invariably. Application fee details should be written in the acknowledgement slip by the candidate. The candidate can retain a copy of the registered on-line application form for future reference.

    4.                 Age Limit & Educational Qualifications: Eligible candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details regarding age limit and required education qualification.

                Application Fee: Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- and examination fee of Rs. 100/- through Online or Offline mode.
                i) Through Online payment fee must be paid through Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit card.
                ii) Through Offline payment fee paid through Challan (generated from bank website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office within two days from the date of submission of application.

                Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Interview.

                How to apply: Candidates have to apply through online mode through website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpsscexams.net, TNPSC websites on or before 13-07-2012. After submission of application candidates must send the print out of application form to the Commission.


                Instructions for Online Application:

                1. Candidates should scan their photograph and signature.
                2. Candidates are first required to log on to the TNPSC’s website.
                3. Click on “Apply Online” link besides the name of the post or service for which they wish to apply.
                4. Candidates should fill all mandatory columns, upload photograph and signature
                5. Select the mode of payment (Online/Offline).
                6. In Case of Offline mode system will generate challan and candidate make the payment in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office.
                7. Fill the details and click on ‘Submit’ button.
                8. After submitting Application, registration number and password generated.
                9. Candidates should note their Application Number and Password for future reference
                10. Take note and also take print out of application which must be sent to the commissioner.

                SELECTION PROCEDURE:
                Eligible candidate will be called for written test comprising multiple choice questions from (i) General Aptitude (fifty questions) (ii) Subject Knowledge (one hundred questions) to be conducted at Bhubaneswar. There shall be negative marking @ 0.25 for every wrong answer. Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be called for the personal interview at Bhubaneswar. Both the written test for GETs/ MTs and DETs shall be held on the same date and time.

                HOW TO APPLY:
                a) The applicants are to apply through "ON LINE APPLICATION REGISTRATION SYSTEM" through the Website www.ohpcltd.com of OHPC. The Website will be open from 28.05.2012 to 16.06.2012. After filling up the ON-LINE application; Candidate is required to download the application form with unique registration number & take a print out of the same in A4 size paper and has to duly sign in the print copy of the on line application form in the space provided. Print out of the application along with Two recent passport size colour photographs (one to be signed on the front & pasted in the form and the other to be enclosed) & necessary documents shall have to be sent through by ordinary post in an envelope superscribing ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GET / MT / DET’ (as applicable) to Post Box No.2752,GPO, Kolkata-1 so as to reach on or before the last date i.e 23.06.2012.Application received after last date of receipt, due to postal delay or for any other reasons, shall not be considered.
                b) Before applying on line, candidate has to make a non-refundable A/C payee
                Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.350/- (not applicable for SC, ST and PH) drawn in
                favour of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, payable at Bhubaneswar.
                The candidate has to fill in the details of Demand Draft while applying on line. The
                candidate is required to write his/her name, date of birth and contact
                Telephone/Mobile No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft before sending along
                with application form.
                c) The application form has to be enclosed with self attested, Visible & clear
                photocopy of the following documents.
                i) Document in support of date of Birth proof/ Matriculation certificate.
                ii) Self attested photocopies of all certificates / testimonials in respect of
                qualifications (all semester/ year wise Mark sheets & Degree Certificates starting
                from matriculation onwards)
                iii) Caste certificate issued by the competent authority for SC, ST and SEBC
                candidates.
