Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Specialist to support TIBCO’s Direct Marketing organization. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage and execute email campaigns in support of worldwide field marketing, product marketing, lead generation and company communication initiatives. Secondary responsibilities include coordination of web events, implementation of web pages, list segmentation, and direct marketing analysis and reporting.
Based in Pune, this role is an integral part of TIBCO’s Direct Marketing organization. The position reports to a manager based in Palo Alto. This is an excellent position for an individual who is not afraid of hard work and wants to join a dynamic marketing team that works on worldwide marketing initiatives. This position may also be a good fit for someone currently working for an ad agency in an email marketing capacity.
Key roles and responsibilities include to:
* Creation of HTML emails
* Development and update of web landing pages
* Review and maintain, html email and data accuracy, including making updates as required to complete and/or correct data records and validating data (eg when exceptions to business rules are identified)
* Assist with de-duplication of lists
* Import lists to Salesforce.com/Marketing Automation Tool
* Build reports from Salesforce.com/Marketing Automation Tool
* Respond to inquiries regarding entered data

Desired Profile:
Specific experience and knowledge required to perform this role competently include:
* 1-2 Years of professional experience
* Experience in creating email and web pages
* Experience supporting database work
* Proficiency in Macromedia dreamweaver and html
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
* Knowledge of Microsoft Access
* Strong English verbal and written communications skills.
* Accurate typing skills at 50 wpm required
* Superior organization/time management skills.
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivated
* Ability to multi-task competently
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Desire to be successful and grow within the company.
* Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Marketing Automation Tools would be a plus
* Adobe Creative Suite Experience a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing (or equivalent) preferred
